Day #18 & 19

We are in a holding pattern until Monday, when the judge said she will decide when she is scheduling the court hearings. There are 2 needed and we want them back to back. We are praying for Tuesday and Wednesday. She evidently has the case and is reviewing it. Please pray.

Yesterday we went to the graduation for 18 of the children from the orphanage. It was very nice and went very late. It was also sad, because once they leave they have little resources or support. Most of them are sent to a "school" to learn to paint or do manual labor at best.

The Lord continues to sustain us and give us peace each day. Luda is doing very well and enjoying our visits each day. Yesterday we hid a bunch of toy plastic animals in a large shaded and wooded garden area and let the kids go on a treasure hunt. They loved it!! I will update you on Monday when we hear. Keep praying!!

  1. Thanks for the update - all your friends are praying for you. We are working on that judge!!

Psalm 9 - The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in the times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you Lord, have NEVER forsaken those who seek you!!

Keep your chin up (that was me, not David!)

  3. Hi Family! I am sorry that the process is so frustrating, but it is beyond your control. You have done everything you could possibly do and the rest is in His hands. I love you all and pray that Luda will have the opportunity to be a part of a loving forever family who traveled half way around the world to bring her home. Love, Deb

  4. Hi Friends! I am soooo inspired by your perseverance. It has been a rough and exciting road for you. I have been praying, and I came across this today:
Exodus 14:21 "and all that night the LORD drove the sea back"

He is on this one for you!!! Stay strong in the Lord. Love you!!

  5. This time of uncertainty must be difficult, and at times may leave you feeling helpless.

    My prayer for you tonight:
Psalm 10:17 - Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.

Praying for comfort, protection, and His will in His time.
